This study is supported by a panel of patient and public involvement contributors. This role includes:
- Sharing their views and experiences of care in advanced illness and at the end of life
- Offering advice on how best to include other patients, patients’ families and the wider public in the research
- Advising on project documents
- Helping to ensure the research is carried out in a respectful way
- Helping us to share our research findings with the public
